Governance

MVDP is managed by a Governing Board which is formed by equal representation of the three stakeholders and an independent member. The Governing Board takes strategic decisions, approves the work program and the projects which should be further developed. It also advices the executive team on seeking fund for executing translational development activities.

Bill Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) has an observer status. They are kept informed on the progress, status and ongoing projects via the Governing Body Meeting minutes and an annual report submitted in December each year.

The strategic decisions taken by Governing Board are implemented by the Executive Team.
